We are looking for an Accounting Manager who enjoys the intersection of finance, technology, and operations.

You are the person who not only ensures the numbers add up, but also thinks about how work can be done smarter, faster, and better. You enjoy building efficient processes, automating recurring tasks, and using systems in a way that saves time for both yourself and your colleagues.

Here, you play a key role in the finance function. You are responsible for the accounting and work closely with the operations team every day. At the same time, you have ample opportunity to develop our working methods, improve our workflows, and contribute to our continued growth.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Continuous bookkeeping and accounting from start to finish
• Customer and supplier invoicing
• Reconciliations and monthly closing
• Accounts receivable and payment follow-up
• Payroll administration and preparatory payroll work
• Efficiency and automation of financial processes in Fortnox
• Development of routines, working methods, and system support
• Internal support to employees regarding finance, administration, and system issues
• Analysis of workflows and identification of improvement opportunities

Who we think you are

We believe you have worked a few years in finance and accounting and feel confident in your daily work. You may already have significant responsibility today or be ready to take the next step.

We believe you:

• Have extensive experience with Fortnox and have worked with automations, integrations, or efficiencies in this system
• Have good experience with the entire chain of accounting and bookkeeping
• Enjoy understanding how systems, processes, and finance are interconnected
• Are unpretentious and service-oriented
• Have experience with payroll work or a desire to develop in this area

It is meritorious if you:

• Have experience from the service sector, preferably business-to-consumer
• Have worked with invoicing to private individuals
• Have an interest in AI and digitalization
• Have experience in mentoring and supporting colleagues
• Have an interest in the healthcare industry and health

What does a typical Tuesday look like as an Accounting Manager here?

08:00

You start the day in Fortnox and review yesterday's flows. Some payments need to be reconciled, a number of invoices need to be booked, and you follow up on an automated workflow that you recently implemented. You notice that one step could be further improved and note it for later.

09:00

You work on the ongoing accounting. At the same time, you receive questions from operations about how a new working method should be handled financially. You help find a solution that works practically and is correct accounting-wise.

10:30

You are in internal support, helping psychologists, managers, and other colleagues with questions regarding invoices, reimbursements, systems, and administrative routines. You like the combination of finance and service and ensure people get fast and clear answers.

12:00

Lunch surrounded by driven and warm colleagues! Conversations about everything from the mundane to the profound with people working in an industry where human beings and mental well-being are central.

13:00

After lunch, you work on payroll data and quality assurance before the upcoming payroll run. You go through details, follow up on discrepancies, and ensure everything is correct before the next step in the process.

14:30

Meeting with the finance and operations team. You discuss improvements in your processes, new automations in Fortnox, and how you can create even better workflows as the business continues to grow to new locations.

16:00

You work on accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid invoices. At the same time, you test a new solution that could reduce manual work and make follow-ups more efficient in the future.

17:00

You log off with the feeling that you have both gotten things done and made the systems a little better than when the day started. Some numbers reconciled themselves thanks to the automation you built last month, and you find that extremely satisfying!
